Little is known of the ways in which African Nova Scotians were affected by the Halifax Explosion. This talk by David Woods centres around the experiences of the 11 verified African Nova Scotians killed in that great tragedy; 4 were from the Windsor area (Three Miles Plains). These were men who worked and boarded in Halifax but were Windsor residents.
