Saturday, 7 September, 2019 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
H.G. Bauld Building; 35 Wilfred Jackson Way; Dartmouth NS
Organized By: The Delmore "Buddy" Daye Learning Institute

The Delmore “Buddy” Daye Learning Institute (DBDLI) will host regional financial education workshops for African Nova Scotian/Black learners and community to enhance and/or develop their financial literacy skills.

Financial knowledge is necessary to make financially responsible decisions. Therefore helping learners of African ancestry gain that knowledge and become more fluent in concepts such as student loans, debt, credit, and savings like RESP’s and RRSP’s will better prepare them for financial planning to support goals such as post-secondary education.

Although the content delivered in this presentation is geared towards young adult learners, all community members are encouraged to attend.
