African Nova Scotian genealogical research can reveal, retell, and restore family-tree stories about our ancestors.

 

As an affirmation to those who came before us, the presenter will use archival documents to illuminate the myths and mysteries about our African American ancestors and the experiences of their descendants.

 

Join this presentation to learn from the discoveries that local Black family history and genealogy offers - because of those who chose to stay.
