S.E.A.R.C.H is for White parents who are Adoptive, Legal Guardian, or Birth parents of Black/Bi- Racial Children. The program will involve guest speakers, time for participants to share experiences, learn about African Canadian history, Culture and Much more. More than anything else, it will provide the group members with an opportunity to become connected with others in similar situations. Offers a non- threatening environment for parents to discuss their fears, ideas, challenges and successes in raising a child with a cultural heritage different from theirs.
