Join North Nova Education Center's African Nova Scotian Leadership Committee for a day of learning with EL Jones.

 

Halifax's poet laureate from 2013-2015, El Jones has become one of Nova Scotia's most vocal activists, and a leader in the African Nova Scotian Community. El is an award winning spoken word poet, and an educator who has taught at Acadia University and NSCC. El uses her talent and wisdom to bring attention to Social Justice issues, and mobilize the community.
