CBU Library Presents: The Legacy of Viola Desmond’s Canada Join us Wednesday, February 22nd at 1 pm, in the Library Student Lounge for a talk with Viola Desmond’s sister Mrs. Wanda Robson and author of the critically acclaimed book “Viola Desmond’s Canada”, Dr. Graham Reynolds.

Civil rights icon Viola Desmond was recently announced as the first Canadian woman to be featured on Canadian currency. Her image will be featured on the $10 bill starting in 2018. Mrs. Robson and Dr. Reynolds will discuss Viola’s impact on Canada using first person accounts and historical documentation.

The event will be live streamed free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
