Dartmouth playwright, artist, storyteller David Woods will present a synopsis of his research and share stories from Extraordinary Acts his new play on African Nova Scotian experiences during the 1917 Halifax Explosion as part of a “Storytelling Roundtable” at the Dalhousie Art Gallery.

Catherine Martin (filmmaker and storyteller, Millbrook First Nation)

Janet Maybe (author of the book Aftershock: The Halifax Explosion and the Persecution of Pilot Francis Mackey)

Ben Stone (of Zuppa Theatre, who is working on a play about the legal inquiry after the Explosion, called At This Hour).
