Join us in celebrating the ninth annual Africa Festival of Arts and Culture on the Halifax Waterfront. This July 20th, 21st & 22nd experience world class entertainment from, live music, dance and drumming workshops, traditional fashion, food and much more!

Afrifest showcases visual and performing arts, as well as the many cultures of people of African descent. Artists who participate in the festival are diasporas from Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Gambia, Zambia, Togo, Congo, Uganda, Somalia, Eritrean, Ethiopia, Burundi, Sierra Leone, the Caribbean and African Nova Scotia Community. Their artistic works include visual arts, drumming, jazz, hip-hop, gospel, spoken-word and more. We look forward to seeing you soon!
