#1792Project is an exciting school and community project dedicated to a vital chapter in African Nova Scotian history that continues to ripple out into the present time. The 15 Ships to Sierra Leone journey from Halifax remain the single, largest return to the continent of Africa by people of African descent that has occurred throughout history.  Let us share the history and goals of our growing project and our exciting partnership with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
