-------------------------------

The Let It Out project is a collaborative working group between Ceasefire Halifax, The Association of Black Social Workers (ABSW), NS Brotherhood Initiative and Veith House. Let It Out was developed in response to needs identified by communities in North End Halifax after a series of homicides and sudden deaths.

The Let It Out Grief Group provides safe spaces to attend peer led grief groups facilitated by members of the African Nova Scotian community. Through group, collective experiences, intense emotions, struggles and thoughts can be talked about with others with similar experiences. Support groups have been shown to increase overall sense of well-being, reduce anxiety and improve self-esteem.
