------------------------------------------------

In response to expression of emotional pain associated with violence and homicides by those around us, a collaboration between neighbors and friends at CeaseFire Halifax, ABSW, NS Brotherhood Initiative, and Veith House has emerged to bring community-led peer support grief groups to North End Halifax.

The project is called Let It Out - and that is exactly what it is - a project to create space for those grieving to let it out. All support groups will be led by trained facilitators from the African Nova Scotian community.

Meet and Greet the facilitators will take place in the communities of Uniacke Square and Mulgrave Park on May 9th and May 11th respectively to provide an opportunity for community members to meet the people who will be leading the groups and get more information.

Tuesday May 9th

YOUTH at the YMCA on Gottingen @ 6-7pm

Adults at the Parent Resource Centre in Uniacke Square @ 7:30-8:30pm
