Child Welfare in Nova Scotia: An Overview With Winnie Benton, BSW, MSW, RSW Recruitment and Pre-Assessment Social Worker, Nova Scotia Department of Community Services Winnie Benton is an experienced social worker and public servant in the Department of Community Services. She currently serves as a recruitment and pre-assessment social worker. She will provide insight into the Child Welfare system, particularly how it relates to African Nova Scotian families and communities.
