The Health Association of African Canadians and the Diabetes Care Program of Nova Scotia present "Pregnancy and Diabetes: What You Should Know."

Dr. Jillian Coolen from the Dalhousie University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Akila Whiley, a medical student at Dalhousie Medical School, will be providing a host of useful information about pregnancy and diabetes including planning for pregnancy, screening for diabetes in pregnancy, reducing risk factors, breast-feeding and much much more. 

Admission to the event is free and open to public.
