We are pleased to announce that Poets for Progress has a special guest in September as our feature. Dr. George Elliott Clarke Canada's poet laureate will grace us with his literary brilliance and his presence.

Poets of Progress is a monthly series that provides a platform for poets, writers, comedians, story-tellers, through our open mic and featured performances. A poetry slam which assists with raising awareness and funds by having the slam winner donate 50% of our admission proceeds to a community group or charity of their choice
